    New feature:
    Checks if the latest version is already installed, and won't waste your time or internet downloading something redundant.

    Potential bug fixes:
    Uses $HOME instead of /home/$(whoami) for the default compatibility directory.
    This also reorders part of the script so that the creation of the temporary working directory comes before any of the fail checks, otherwise it could fail and try to remove the directory that doesn't exist.
