Previously, in versions up to 11.3 the format was:

  • GE-Proton11-3.tar.gz

Starting with version 11.4 the format is now:

  • GE-Proton11-4-x86_64.tar.gz

This change causes a bit of chaos in the version constructor here:

# download the archive from github, placing it in the temp directory
echo Downloading $version.tar.gz from github
curl -Lso "$tempdir/$version.tar.gz" "https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/download/$version/$version.tar.gz" || Failed "Failed to download $version, exiting"

I hard-coded x86_64 in on my end as a work around but as there are more ARM64/aarch64 devices that can run Steam showing up is may make sense to do the old trick of setting an $arch variable at startup

Thanks for the heads up! That is definitely annoying, I'll have to see what I can do about that. I've been considering rewriting this in C, so I'll probably make a big release soon with this fix. Although, if I do, that does mean I'll need to figure out how to cross compile C for ARM.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd greatly appreciate it if you send the current changes you've made and/or mark where you made changes to the current implementation.
