Warning

If your system is running on ARM, you have to build cldr from source

Linux

Fedora/RedHat based

For the first install, run the following as root:

dnf config-manager addrepo --from-repofile=https://forgejo.zeromedia.vip/girlnamedzero/cldr/raw/branch/main/packaging/rpm/cldr.repo

zypper install cldr

To upgrade, run zypper update cldr as root

Arch based

For the first install, run the following: (note, you can replace curl with wget so long as you also change the -o to -O (capitalize it))

curl -o sign.gpg https://forgejo.zeromedia.vip/api/packages/girlnamedzero/arch/repository.key
sudo pacman-key --add sign.gpg
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key 'girlnamedzero@noreply.forgejo.zeromedia.vip'
rm sign.gpg

echo '[girlnamedzero.forgejo.zeromedia.vip]
SigLevel = Required
Server = https://forgejo.zeromedia.vip/api/packages/girlnamedzero/arch/cldr/$arch' | sudo tee --append /etc/pacman.conf

sudo pacman -Sy cldr

To upgrade, run:

sudo pacman -Sy cldr

Ubuntu/Debian based

For the first install, run the following: (yes this looks scary, but all this does is add a new repo to your system)
(Also note, you can replace curl with wget so long as you also change the -o to -O (capitalize it))

sudo curl -o /etc/apt/keyrings/forgejo-girlnamedzero.asc https://forgejo.zeromedia.vip/api/packages/girlnamedzero/debian/repository.key
echo "deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/forgejo-girlnamedzero.asc] https://forgejo.zeromedia.vip/api/packages/girlnamedzero/debian bionic main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cldr.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install cldr

To upgrade, run:

sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade cldr

General linux distros (maybe other unix systems too?)

Download the cldr binary from the latest release and place the file in your path (something like /bin/cldr)

Other operating systems

See building from source

Building from Source

Running make will build and place the result in the ./build/ directory.

Run make clean to remove the built binaries
